How to choose an IPTV subscription
A checklist for choosing an IPTV subscription: streams, renewal, the first week, apps, currency and the questions to ask before you pay.
Choose by the four things you can check: how many streams one subscription gives you, whether it renews on its own, what happens in the first week and which apps it supports. Everything else on the sales page is decoration.
Start with your own setup, not with the provider
Before you compare anything, answer three questions about your own situation. How many people watch at the same time in your household. On which device you will watch. And how much patience you have for setup. Those three answers rule out most offers before you read a price.
If two people watch in the evening in different rooms, you need two streams, which means two subscriptions with us. If you watch alone, one connection is enough and you can install the same access details on a phone, a stick and a laptop and switch between them. Writing that down first saves the disappointment later.
The five numbers that matter
| Number | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Streams per subscription | It decides whether the household fits into one subscription. |
| Terms offered | A short first term lets you test before you commit. |
| Guarantee window | It is the only real test period if there is no free trial. |
| Price per month | It falls with the longer terms, so compare the monthly figure. |
| Setup fee | It should be zero. |
Read the renewal sentence
Automatic renewal is the quiet part of many subscriptions. It means the money leaves again at the end of the term unless you cancel, and it means you have to remember a date. A subscription that simply ends does not need a calendar entry. Ask directly, and look for the sentence in the terms.
The same applies to cancellation. A provider that renews automatically should tell you how to stop it, in writing, before you pay. If the answer is only a chat message, treat it as a warning.
Judge the first week, not the first minute
A new subscription often looks perfect in the first ten minutes, because the channels you try first are the ones you know. The problems show up later, in the evening, during a match or when the guide has to fill. Plan your test around your own viewing habits, not around the provider’s demo.
Write down what you watched, at which hour and what happened. If you have to ask for a refund, that note is your case. If you do not, the note tells you whether the longer term is worth it.
Currency and payment
Prices on most IPTV pages are in dollars, ours are in euro. Your card or PayPal converts at the rate of your bank, so the amount on your statement will differ slightly from the price on the table. That is normal and it is not a fee we charge. If a provider adds a currency surcharge of its own, you will see it on the invoice.
The questions to send before you pay
Copy these six lines into the chat and send them. The answers tell you more than any review list, and a provider that avoids one of them has told you something as well.
- How many streams does one subscription give me?
- Does it renew automatically, and how do I stop it if it does?
- What is the guarantee window, and what is not covered?
- Which apps do you support, and who helps me set one up?
- Which channels matter to me, and can you confirm them before I pay?
- Which payment routes do you accept from my country?
Where we fit
One connection, so one stream at a time. Four terms from 14.99 EUR for one month to 83.99 EUR for twelve months. No automatic renewal, so there is nothing to cancel. Seven days from activation to ask for your money back. No free trial, and the guarantee is the test window. Three players: IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate and VLC. Support on WhatsApp in English.
Where we do not fit is a household that needs three streams in the evening. That household needs three subscriptions, and we would rather say so here than in a refund conversation later.
What to ignore
| On the page | Why to ignore it |
|---|---|
| A channel count | Nobody audits it. |
| A countdown timer | The price is not the price. |
| ”Best IPTV 2026” badges | They are placed by the seller. |
| Five star reviews without names | They cannot be checked. |
| A free trial behind a card form | It is a subscription. |
Where the money goes and what it buys
A short term costs more per month, and that is not a penalty, it is a smaller risk. A long term costs less per month, and it is a bet that the service fits your line for a year. The four terms exist so that you can decide how much of that bet you want to take.
| Term | Price | Per month | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | 14.99 EUR | 14.99 EUR | testing your line and your household |
| 3 months | 39.99 EUR | 13.33 EUR | a season, a tournament, a trial period that lasts |
| 6 months | 59.99 EUR | 10.00 EUR | half a year with a lower monthly figure |
| 12 months | 83.99 EUR | 7.00 EUR | the whole year at the lowest monthly figure |
Prices are in euro. Your card or PayPal converts at the rate of your bank. There is no setup fee, and nothing renews, so the amount on your statement is the amount on the table, plus whatever your bank charges for the conversion.
The setup questions nobody asks in advance
Four details decide how smooth the first evening goes, and all four can be answered before you pay. Which device you will use first. Whether you want the Xtream login or the M3U link. Which app you will install. And whether anyone in the household needs a second stream.
Ask them in one message rather than five. A provider who receives all four at once can send access details that fit your setup, and you spend the first evening watching instead of typing. A provider who receives them one at a time will answer one at a time, and the evening disappears into the chat.
What a good first week looks like
Day one is the setup and one evening of normal watching. Day two is the guide, so that you are not scrolling a list of thousands. Day three is a peak hour, which is the only test that matters for a busy line. Day four is the device you actually want to use every day, not the one you set up first. By the end of the week you know whether the service fits, and the guarantee window is still open if it does not.
The checklist on one page
Streams per subscription. Terms offered. Guarantee window. Price per month. Setup fee. Renewal. Apps supported. Support channel. Currency. Payment routes. Ten items, and every one of them can be answered before you pay.
Print it or copy it into a note, and fill it in for two providers. The exercise takes fifteen minutes and replaces an evening of reading review lists. What you are looking for is not the provider with the best answers. It is the provider whose answers you can check, because a checkable answer is the only kind that survives the first week.
